Our Process

After we receive your inquiry, we will forward a questionnaire for you and your daughter to complete. Once completed, please submit the questionnaire and email a photo of your dancer to info@faunagilledesigns.com. We will review the questionnaire and initiate the design phase. Once the design is created, we will provide an estimate of cost and timeline for completion. Fauna Gille Designs will require a $700 dollar deposit. Please forward the amount by check payable to Fauna Gille Designs at the address listed on our contact screen. Once we receive your down payment, Fauna will consult with our seamstress and begin the creation of your dress!

Dress Slots

Currently, our timeline to complete your solo dress is between two to three months.

Measurements

Measurements can be taken locally by appointment or measurement information can be gathered separately. We attend many of the Mid-America Feises and are available to take measurements at that time. Please contact us to set up an appointment. Alternatively, we will assist you with completing our measurement form if you are located in a different region.

Fitting

The initial step is creating a muslin which will be expertly fitted to the dancer. This muslin will ultimately become the inside of your new dress!

Final Fitting

The second and last fitting is conducted and final adjustments are made to ensure the perfect fit. Our seamstress will allow for ample let out room for your growing dancer!

If you cannot attend the fittings in person, no worries, Fauna Gille Designs will obtain the appropriate information from you to expertly create your dancer's dress.

Crystal and Crown

After the dress is sewn, we begin the artistry of adding the many Swarovski crystals! We place the crystals individually in creative patterns throughout the dress. In addition to the dress, Fauna Gille Designs will also include a masterfully crafted crown laden with Swarovski crystals to compliment your new dress!
